When I downloaded the new patch it looked like this, can somebody point me in the direction where I can download it properly
 
did u extract it to the right folder using winrar?
 
It just says windows can't open this file...
 
talkm e through what youve done so far. right from the moment you clicked downlaod.

Just went to downloaded it, pressed save, and it turned out like that, and when I double click on it, this happens -
 
Just looks as though it hasn't downloaded correctly.
 
u need to extract the file using winrar or 7zip or similar.

it doesnt really matter which you choose.

once youve got an extraction program. right click the file and click ''extract to'' it will then ask you to choose a place to extract the file to. i usually jsut choose desktop. once its extracted double click the new extracted file on the desktop and the patch should self install


at least i think. whenever i get a problem with a file downlaoded from fm base, its becasue i havent extracted it properly
 
Yeah mine did that, for some reason you can't download the 10.1 patch any more, just go straight to the 10.2

Still didnt work mate:(
 
Download the 10.2 update! 10.1 doesn't work anymore
 
What is the file coming up as now?

Did you download FM on steam?
 
Don't use InternetExplorer, use Safari or some other browser - IE can't recognise the file type. :) ;)
