Good Evening Ladies and Gents, and welcome to the write-up of my long-term (well, for me at least) Southampton save.

So far on this journey....
2013/2014
Premier Division: 6th (63pts)
FA Cup: 3rd Round
Capital One Cup: 4th Round
Top Scorer: Jay Rodriguez (27)
Most Assists: Anderson (13)
Top Performer: Jay Rodriguez (7.32 - 36 appearances)

2014/2015
Premier Division: 8th (56pts)
FA Cup: 4th Round
Capital One Cup: 3rd Round
Euro Cup: Semi Finals
Top Scorer: Jay Rodriguez (23)
Most Assists: Luke Shaw (12)
Top Performer: Michele Camporese (7.17 - 48 appearances)

The Squad
I like to focus on developing the clubs youth, and bringing in young players, either to develop and sell, or develop and play...the board often insist I bring in high-profile players, which is why we see players such as Shaqiri (who I try to sign in most of my games) and Lamela, who was a big money signing a in 2014 (i think) after spurs listed him...quite why I do not know...anyway...my inital first team for this season iiiis:

GK: Paolo Gazzaniga
DL: Luke Shaw
DR: Nathaniel Clyne
CB: Matteo Mussachio
CB: Michele Camporese
MC: Victor Wanyama: /Leon Goretzka
MC: Jack Cork/Jordan Henderson
RW: Adam Lallana/Xherdan Shaqiri
LW: Eric Lamela/Justin Coldicott
AMC: James Ward-Prowse/Tomas Martinez
ST: Jay Rodriguez/Matej Vydra

In terms of products of my own youth system, players such as Lloyd Isgrove, Chris Shaw are still with the club, while several others are out on loan to get experience, There are also others who were brought in from other youth systems, and they are: Robert Steiner, Dominic Wood, Erich Bestler and Jeff Burton, ​to name a few.​
 
Shaqiri has shoots from distance PPM.. it irritates the f out of me.
 
Champions League Draw 2016: Group Stages

Champions League Draw Puts Southampton In Tough Group
English League Champions Southampton were 3rd Seeds in today's Champions League Draw, and saw themselves put in Group F, along with Bayern Munich, Shaktar Donetsk, and Maccabi Tel-Aviv. We caught up with Club captain Adam Lallana, to ask what he thought of the draw.

"Obviously it's not the easiest draw we could have been handed, but i'm happy we avoided bigger teams like PSG and Barcelona...no disrespect to Tel-Aviv or Shaktar, but i think Bayern are probably the biggest threat here, and every game is going to be great experience for our young squad."

"Do you think maybe people forget how young the squad is, given what you achieved last season?"

"I think there's an element of that, yes, but at the end of the day, our first team squad has an average age of 21, but I know the boss is looking to bring in a couple of older guys to bring some extra experience in Europe, and that'll hopefully let the guys who've been brought into the squad from the academy go out on loan to pick up the first team experience that they're going to need for the future. Overall though, I reckon we've got as good a chance as anybody in that group, and it's down to us to prove that we've got what it takes to progress.

Players with Shoots fro distance also need shoots with power to score regularly. I used editor to get that to Schurrle and he scored absolute beauties, I mean, OUTRAGEOUS! Wouldn't suggest using editor for a story, though.

I might look into that, if i've not managed to knock it out of him yet...currently offloading about half my reserve team, and juggling this with a Journeyman save, cause otherwise i'll end up bored...next update hopefully today however :)
