I have just started the season with Southampton I got default squad
I keep losing be style I need dive on who to buy and what formation to use

Have a look at ChristianErikson beautiful play formation. Using it on my Southampton save and in the first season I'm sitting third.

In terms of players Balanta would be a good addition as the Southampton defenders aren't great. You could also sell some players and try to bring in Memphis Depay who's fantastic as a Left Sided inside forward.
