In other examples of outdated top leagues (English First Division), the titles were still transferred (Liverpool has 18 "English Premier Division" titles on its history page).
Do you think there's any particular reason for this lack of detail, or does it simply come down to the "touchiness" of the geopolitics of the Soviet Union? In that case, I know several Dynamo Kiev fans who, while they hold differing opinions on the USSR's legacy, they all are proud of their club's history in the Soviet Top League.
