Spanish leagues team registration

So in a network game I got an offer from Osasuna in the 2nd spanish tier and I accepted it. Now when I took them over, they had like 5 players left in the squad and I built up a new team.

Now I saw in spain, one can only register 25 players initially and it won't let me change the registration list once filed in. Can the registration list be changed in the winter transfer window ?

Also, are there any other rules I could benefit from ? Like in european cups, players below 21 can always play without registration ? I find the rules description in the game a little confusing...

I believe under 19's dont need to be registered and also you can only have non eu players in the squad, African players have an exception, if they play 2 years in Spain they count as an EU even though they are not
