Speeding up FM

Hi guys,

me and my mate have just started a network game, my game is just running as normal however his game is running really slow, when i have finished my games he is about half an hour into his.
So..i just wondered what ways we could speed it up?? Like does it make a difference if it is in windowed mode or not? Stuff like that. Cheers

probably cause you are hosting it. i know it sounds silly but is his game speed the same as yours? whats his interent connection like? and what host are you using to run the game?

ive also always thought my game runs quicker when its not windowed

cheers for your response harriers09, his game speed is slower than mine but it is usually a lot quicker than it is now. As far as im aware, his internet connection is good. We are using tunngle to host the game as we had some problems with hamachi. Would his game run at his normal speed if he hosted the game?

yeah pretty much, however his game usually plays a lot quicker than when we play the network game
