Just a quick thread for all the scotts and football minded people a like.

Just wondering if you was in charge of the SPL what would you do to stop the dominance of Celtic & Rangers to make the league more exciting and not a fore gone conclusion in august when the league starts.

Same could be said about the prem with the top 4 so any feedback on that would be good too.(H)
 
Boot the two of them down to English league see how they fare down there.
 
you could have a wage cap but it would have to be across europe! same if there was transfer cap!

The SPL tried that idea did'nt they an the fa turned around and said the best we can offer to make it fair (beacuse two teams from the prem would loose their place) is for the old firm to start in league 2, the football league said thats hardly fair cos it'll turn their leagues into the SPL just without scottish teams and the old firm said **** that who wants to play league 2.

Story done.

Or i may be mistaken but thats what i got told by a scott in the, who is a drunk, so may not be too accurate.
 
Have a cup every season.
Top 5 teams after season finishes.
Top 5 from SPL, Top 5 from Prem.
Enter a cup before the start of next season or at the end of season.
Prizes: Trophy, Cash, Pride, etc.

Great idea but maybe just the top 2 or at a stretch 3, otherwise your get the likes of arsenal, liverpool , villa spanking aberdeen 7-1 or summat lol
 
Yea something along those lines they wanted straight into Prem or were willing to Accept Championship but the FA understandbly said sorry we can't take do this as we can't stop a team like Wolves going up cause of this and could only offer league two.

Our top 5 isn't even close to your Top 5

Thinking about our wages are on par of a team such as a playoff team in Championship Birmingham can offer more than we can to a player.

Birmingham can offer a harder challenge week in week out, but they can't offer uefa cup finals??

Just like to apologise for Manchester residents after the mess we left :p
I can't remember much of manchester except a crate of Boddingtons and sleeping on a shed.
