Spurs 442 narrow diamond

Hi everyone...this is my first post on fmbase but long time user!!

I'm trying to design a tactic based on the current spurs formation using the roles I think they are utilising in real life.

My idea is some thing like sweeper keeper...2 bpd's...2 wbs...dlp for winks as dmc...roaming playmaker for eriksons and btb for sissoko...alli as a ss in the amc position...then kane and son as complete forward and poacher.

I can not get any style or tactic to work like this though!!

Any tips or help would be welcome

Ps...i can't believe I'm trying to build a tactic with sissoko in it!!

hello mate I tried replicating this with united. ended up using a 4312. same roles for midfield. instruct my players to play wider and stretch the pitch and let the BBM dribble more and carry it forward. Although it is quite difficult to get it to work consistently. Match engine simply doesn't allow for these types of tactics to work.

I ended up changing to a 433 narrow with a false 9, target man and DLF combo up front
