Spurs Tactic

i'm nearly finished my first season with spurs and i'm in 9th position, which was what my board expected. however, inconsistency has been my major downfall and i think its because i cant find the "perfect" tactic. i will post my team and could someone please give advise as to what tactic to play. thanks in advance. heres my team:

GK- Robinson
DR - Vanden Borre
DL - Kleber/ Assou-Ekotto
DC - Dawson/Kovac
DC - King
MR - Malbranque/Jenas
ML -Silva/Raul Garcia(retrained )
MC - Zokora
MC - Cahill/Arteta
FC - Defoe/Dagoberto
FC - Berbatov

team changed now playin 5-3-2 and seems to be workin but suggestions still welcome

k 1st thing i would do i play a conventional 4-4-2.

push the wingers arrows right up and in the team options in tactics pay with lots of width and play attacking.

then i would play arteta rw, cahill and zakora mc (zakora on left of), dawson cb with king and defoe and berbatov up front.
