Stadium problem...

I am currently in my second season with AS Saint-Etienne. I have good finances (won Ligue 1 first season) and I have been filling out my stadium nearly every match.

When I go to the boardroom and go to the stadium section, everything is greyed out. If I hover over "Build New Stadium" it says the board request has already been approved but I have never requested this option (I haven't been able to). For this reason I can't expand the stadium or buy it. There is no indication that a new stadium is under construction in the boardroom tab.

What could be the problem?

I would suggest they had a new stadium built not long before you took over, but their stadium was built in the 1930s and renovated in 1998.

The same option is in grey on my Doncaster career though although I can request to expand the stadium.

Try and win another title or two and get a decent run in the Champions League and then try.
