Starting up problem

Hi guys.

Today I purchased Football Manager 2011. It wasn't cheap either. $80

Anyway I installed it. It was all good but the version was 11.0. I decided to install the new patch via the torrent way. It installed the patch fine but when I go to open up FM this message comes up..." Football Manager 2011 11.1.1f158038 has stopped working

A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."

I have windows vista btw.

If somebody could help me in what I have to do that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It is possible the patch has somehow corrupted your game. IMO it sounds like you need to reinstall the game and the patch.

Regardless, why don't you just install via Steam? Then you wouldn't have this problem as steam verifies game files as it updates automatically.

by any chance have you got The editor opened at the same time? becasue if its not the new editior been told it will casue the program to close.

Nah editor is not up. I am currently re-installing it. If that fails again I will use steam.

Download the patch again though otherwise it may just happen again.
