Static target man PPM

When learning a player this ppm is says something along the lines of asking your player to stay in the box and rarely move from it however with it being called "static target man" it seems rather confusing. Would this PPM just help your player to be more of a fox in the box type player meaning that even a 5"7 player could perform well using this basically it being a poachers PPM, or does it actually have anything to do with being a target man and would a small striker such as chicarito etc find this to have a poor affect on their game?

He's the type of player its only really suitable for, so yes. It is a penalty box player, it was just renamed in FM16 but it's still the 'penalty box player' from FM15.

Yeah it just means they'll do very little other than stand in the box i.e Gary Lineker.

"Static Target Man" is a very rare PPM and I think I've seen it only once so probably that's why there's not so much info about it...

I think when a player has "Static Target Man" PPM then it makes him play like he has "Target Man" role
