Hi all,

I'm trying to install a custom update and was under the impression it needed to go here: -

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\football manager 2009\data\updates

But to my dismay it doesnt seem to be do anything and isn't selectable when starting a new game! I can only therefore assume i'm sticking it in the wrong place!

Any help would be much appreciated!

You are right in that you are putting it in the wrong place. You need to go:

Start ->
My Documents ->
Sports Interactive ->
Football Manager 2009 ->
and then save the update in the "db" folder.

Once this is done, you will now be able to start a new game with your custom update. Hope this helps
