steam doesn't work anymore

I have a great problem. I tried to reinstall my fm11, but when I started the game happened. So I tried to open it with steam, but it says that steam doesn't react anymore. I put steam then into the bin, but I couldn't delete it because they said that ipcserver is still open and that steam is damaged or not completely installed. What does that mean? And what should I do so that steam will work. As long as steam doesn't work I can't play fm11 anymore.

So you installed steam, am I correct? And it worked prior to this?

If it did, then you should be able to just open steam and look in your library of games, where FM will be.

If not, tell me the exact wording of the error message you are getting.

What do you mean when you say ' I put steam then into the bin'? You tried to simply delete the Steam folder? Or did you use the uninstaller?
