Steam Download Activation

Downloaded game via steam, absolutely fine. Launches game, then asks for activation code, I enter it correctly then it tells me that I have no access to the internet? Turned off AVG, rebooted, no success.

Has anyone else had this? It's starting to **** me off. Could the servers their end be busy?

i am also unable to get on.
it asks me for the code but tells me it is incorrect, i tried using the unihoc but it told me i cannot get on the internet. it is a bit annoying.
