Steam Error and Crash Dumps

Game has been working fine from release up until now. First I got a "game is not available" error from Steam. However a veryfying game cache fixed that, but immeditley after that I know have "game has encountered a serious error" message and it says something about a file in the crash dumps folder causing it. I have deleted the crash dumps folder - any other ideas? :S

same happened to me but how do u get past "the game is not available" thing? the "game is not available" happened on release day (of the full game) with the demo
