Steam error

Im having trouble with this stupid programme it says when i click on my football manager icon that steam is already running when i can see it clearly isnt any advice guys

i am having trouble with steam also it tell me there is an error then unavailable try again later. now when i click on the steam icon nothing happens. anyone know what to do or having same problems.

have you updated to new 9.3.0 patch? if no then steam may be in the process of doing so now and will be unavailable for a while

Yes it's probably updating to the latest patch for you.

If not then create a new support ticket over at https://support.steampowered.com/

cheers for the help but dont think its new patch as i got it a couple of days ago.
