Steam Help. What version of FM 12 should load

I know steam is used to automatically update the game but i think mine has failed to do so, when i load the editor for example the only database i have is 12.0.0 and no new ones, I.e. updates to version 12.0.1 or something, how can i get steam to update my game for me?

The game has been patched for you.

However, none of the current updates made any database changes, only bug fixes etc so the editor and new game screen won't give you an option to select a different database.
