Steam Problem

I have just attempted to start up Steam and it comes up saying "Steam is already open in another session" but the thing is it isnt this is the first time im going on FM today Anyhelp

hmmm I thought that would have solved it tbh.
Right I just googled and 1 possbile answer was that someone has hacked your account and logged into it but surely you would be able to log in and thus log them out if that was true. Another person has said it's due to a virus, which seems unlikely. You could do a virus scan anyway. Also try running steam as administrator

wow sounds like you have tried everything. Tried reinstalling steam (I know it's a major pain)

make it the last possible option

Open task manager and locate the button that says "Show Processes from All users". Check the box, and see if Steam is running under a different session. Try ending the process and then logging in.

or try accessing your steam account via their website. If you can't get in then someones haxed you.

go onto TASK manager and end progress of steam

I'm surprised that restarting your pc didn't stop it updating :S
