Steam servers too busy!! Help needed!!

Everytime I try and start up my game it tells me 'steam servers are too busy to handle my request for football manager 2012. Error code (3)' this has been so for nearly 2 weeks now. I have tried verifying integrity of the game cache but doesnt seem to make a difference. Starting to **** me off now, I have been playing football manager since 2005 but why buy a game that i cant even play!

Help would be greatly appreciated!!!!

This happened to me once, restarting Steam did the trick. But if you've been having it for 2 weeks I don't know what to say, look on the steam forums

I had the same problem and was getting ****** off!

I was informed to verify integrity of game cache files on steam. This seemed to work straight away.
