Steam wont Validate files

Hi there

Had FM 2011 for a day now, got up this morning to play it and Steam says Validating files. When it gets to 75% it tells me that the Steam servers are too busy!

I've searched other forums but can't really find anything for my exact problem. Has any one else had this problem?
