A short and not a too challenging pre-season, 4 wins out of 5 is good and the only defeat was against a good Arsenal side with a Giroud hat-trick. As mentioned before I have put my goal as mid-table but believe like last season that we can mount a playoff challenge and hope for more of the same from the lads this season.

A rather disappointing month which see's us lying at a very poor 20th in the league and knocked out of the League cup. However it is only the start of the season and we had 5 away games in a row which I find ridiculous. On a lighter note, Andy Keogh banged in the goals that we need and I hope that he will continue this as the team builds throughout the season.
