Stockport County: Admin to Cash-In

On the 5th of July 2009. Local Millionaire Scott Button Bought out Stockport County for £230. He then cleared debts mounting up to 250k. He said his ambitious for the club was to take it to the very top. He hired Die Hard County Fan Harry Charnock to be Director of football. They would together find the right man to lead from the dug out. Then take County to the Champions league.

12th July 2009. Breaking News at county. Several Big name managers have been seen walking into Edgeley Park. These Names included Sven Goran Eriksson, Kevin Keegan, Gareth Southgate and Zidane. No-one knows why they where going to see the board. It is only speculation.

Managerial Announcement

Mr.Charnock : Ladies and Gentlemen, I'd like to welcome you here today to Edgeley Park for our managerial announcement press conference. We believe that we have made the right choice in naming him as our manager as he has experience at both international and top flight club level. The man we are speaking of has been on the end of both praise and criticism from the british media and football fans around the world. The man I am speaking of is none other than former England & Manchester City Manager Sven Goran Eriksson. Mr. Eriksson, I speak on behalf of everyone at Stockport County FC when I welcome you here to our club.

Mr. Eriksson : Thank you Harry. It is a pleasure to be a part of this club, a club that has great history in the football league. I understand that recently the club has been going under major financial changes as we now have a massive financial backing compared to previously.

Mr. Charnock : Yes, we will offer you a large transfer fund and will make sure we can bring in whatever players you need to satisfy your needs. Speaking of new players, I believe you have an announcement to make considering a new player you brought into the club with you.

Mr Eriksson : Yes, my first move as manager was to bring in a good friend of mine who's football I have admired for some time now. Former Arsenal Vice-Captain Mikael Silvestre. He will be put straight into my plans and is enthusiastic about his future and the future of the club.

Press: Mr.Eriksson, you may be seen as a bad choice of manager as in your last job as Director of Football at Notts County you hardly had a role to play and left abruptly. What do you say to your doubters who believe that this will happen again?

Mr. Eriksson: They are idiots, I only left Notts County because I had to. I was forced out of the club due to a new board coming in, it wasnt optional.

Press: What role do you believe Mikael Silvestre will play in Stockports campaign?

Mr. Eriksson : I see him as one of our key players, he will be near the top of the team sheet week in week out without doubt. I have immediately made him captain of the club and he will play a vital role in our promotion campaign.

Press : Do you want to bring in any more players in the near future?

Mr. Eriksson : Of course, this is obvious. The team needs to be improved if we wish to get promoted this year.

Mr. Charnock : Mr. Eriksson will be taking no more questions. Thank you for your time.

Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen, Today Mr Eriksson and I are going to outline our Ambitious Plans for Stockport County Football Club. We have been granted Permission to build a new stadium, at the site Cale Park Green. The New Ground will be name after former Manager and Idol Danny Bergara. It will hold 32,000 People with the potential of expansion when higher Divisions are reached. We hope this show’s the Fans, Players and media we mean business. This club is going to be the best. The old Ground will be sold to help fund this new Stadium, but will always live high in the memory and history off this new club. We will be moving into our new Stadium in 18months time. the official moving date will be the 19/11/2010

Mr Eriksson has also decided to strengthen his Backroom Staff by employing former world cup winner Zinedine Zidane as his Assistant. He has also Employed Hans Backe to be his first term coach.

Thank you we will now let Mr Eriksson and his team get on with there Job, and that is too getting the club promoted this season.
