Stockport County: Admin to Cash-In

Introductory Round-Up.​

Sven and his scouts have been scouring the world for players who would agree to join Stockport County, promising top level football within 5 years. No player that were signed were of outstanding reputation but the class was unquestionable. ​

He signed most of his players from the South America region. The most notable signing was a home nations player, he came from Ireland and is a Left Back called Danny Murphy. His career at Cork City of the FAI Premier League was illustrious as he was considered a key player at the club and was given the Vice-Captain role. He is a sure-fire starter and an ever present member of our squad this season. Another key signing was Mansour Boutabout, the striker seems to score for fun in the league and was certainly a good find by Sven, a hidden gem to say the least.​

The squad has been struck down with injury as of late and the team has been weakened badly. Key Players such as Mikael Silvestre and Carl Baker have been injured which has made the team suffer as of late and drop to 7th Place. ​

Our drop in form has seen us go 7 games (6 league games) without a win. Our bismal run began after a 3-0 away loss to Leeds United. The best results we have managed to pick up since then have been 2, 2-2 draws against Leyton Orient and Yeovil. ​

Our drop in form has been capitalised on by Norwich, Leeds and Exeter - who are swiftly coming up behind us and threatening to overtake from below. Hartlepool have also closed in on us and we are now only above them on Goal Difference. ​

At this moment in time, Mr.Button and myself are taking into consideration Mr.Eriksson's position at the club and an announcement will be made shortly about his future.​

It was the 9th of January. Sven Goran Eriksson Was called into Mr Charnock Office, it was certain to everyone it was to discuss his future. Mr Button was also present at this meeting. They made it perfectly clear to Mr Erikson he would be sack if they failed to win today, he had to win at Bristol Rovers to stay in a job.

So the game was upon us, Both Mr Harnock and Mr Button where sitting in the directors box.

0-10minutes

Stockport start alot brighter then the Host, with shots from carl barker hitting either bar.

10-30 minutes

Rovers Start to come into pulling fine saves out of Heaton. But then suddenly on 26minutes Hughes picks up the ball 20 yards out and firest straigh into the top corner. 1-0 Rovers is it curtains for sven.

30-45 minutes

Not alot happens but Heaton pulls of another fine save. that boy has kept sven still in with a whisker of keeping his Job today.

45-60

A Michael Raynes own goal puts Stockport 2-0. sven looks a very stressed man in the dug our. But suddenly Rhys Evans Deflects a Alex Perez cross goal wards and in trickles into the corner of the goal. Game on

60-80
Alex Pereze makes it 2-2 is Sven going to survive? it would seem not as bristol have came back into the game with Heaton making more "world Class" saves. this game looks like there only going to be one more team scoring th next goal..

80-90. Sven looks Worried, his team are not having any of the ball, but wait whats this brazilian forward addison is through on goal, can he save sven, he goes round the keeper, sets himself. But despair he is flagged offside. Sven is going crazy at the linesman. Full times now.


6pm saturday the 9th january:​

Stockport County Call Press Conference.​

Scott Button: I am here to Inform You Sven Goran Erikson has had his contract terminated. He has been Having an Affair with a memeber of staffs Girl Friend aswell the teams Performances have not been good enough. I will take Up the first team duties until the end of the season, when we will employ a full time managers. thank you, no questions will be taken today.​


Reports are circuling around Stockport that Sven has been Cheating With Chloe Mellis, the girl freind of Director of Football, Harry Charnock.​

The dream is Over


Scott Button Today Sacked Himself as manager of Stockport County, after a Horrible Run in management, Button only lasted 7 games, winning 2. He is said to take some time away from football, to let harry charncock run the club.

Managerial Announcement from Harry Charnock.​

I am pleased to announce to you today that we have appointed former Tottenham, Barcelona & Leeds manager Terry Venables as the new manager here at Stockport County Football Club. The search has been lengthy and after taking several candidates including former England manager Glenn Hoddle into consideration we have decided that Mr.Venables is the perfect manager for our club. We would now like to invite Terry into the conference room to answer questions from the press.​

Media : "Mr.Venables, Stockport are seen as a club who have been put under major pressure from the board to be successful on and off the pitch. Do you believe that you can provide this success to keep them satisfied?"​

Terry: "Of course, why would I be here otherwise? I believe that a happy player is a successful player and if a player is unhappy then he can leave. If a player believes that he is being treated unfairly then I'm not making him stay. The squad is made up of alot of players, not just one. If a player thinks that throwing a strop will make me give in then he is terribly mistaken."​

Media : "Dont you fear that your seemingly no nonsense approach will cause unrest within the squad?" ​

Terry : "This doesnt concern me, not in the slightest. I have met the squad and believe they are all capable of manning up and taking a bit of the hairdryer treatment." ​

Media : "But surely some of the players will become frustrated at your lack of compassion for their well-being?"​

Terry : "Their well being? If I decide they are good enough to play for my team then they will play for my team, through rain, sleet or snow!" ​

Media : "Mr.Venables, we didnt mean to anger you."​

Terry : "No need to apologise." ​

Mr.Charnock : "Can I just have a minute with Mr.Venables please?" ​
