started this and went with Juventus picked up a bentender on loan from arsenal in first transfer window got dortmund , olympiakosc and Arsenal in the champions league qualified 1st went on to play udinese beat them 4-0 in first leg lost 2-1 in second but went through on aggregate was hoping to get a weak team like Malaga ( who made it through after they beat Man city twice once by 6-0 ) but ended up with spanish giants real madrid and new i would play ac milan or barcelona in the semi final

had brought david villia to strengthen sqauad
lost 1-0 away to real madrid

2nd leg real madrid went 2-0 up and half time i let rip at the players i new we had to get 4 goals so i played villa in his first game (was injured) he scored 3- goals by 70 mins then in the 91 minute vucinic scored to take us through to face barcelona

again lost 1-0 away to barcelona 2nd leg came along and they had fielded a slightly weaker team and had sold messi to man city so i hoped we could overcome the 1-0 goal lead we did we smashed it and won 8-1 on to face manutd in the final

final day came and we went 1-0 up in the first half then utd scored 2 in the second to dash my hopes of securing the champions league and the treble on to next year hopefully

Going into the final 2 champions league group stage matches 2 wins would have seen us through. Unfortunately we lost to Anderlecht and finished 3rd in the group - Europa league territory. In January i set about trying to improve the squad as we were in a group of 5 battling at the top of the league and we couldnt afford to be 5th come May. The board agreed to my requests for extra money to re-build the squad and in came Son Heung-Min, Hiroshi Kiyotake, Stefan De Vrij and Edinson Cavani. Along with these immediate signings we also looked to sign some players at the end of their contracts. In the summer we will welcome Daniel Agger, Nemanja Vidic, Demba Ba, Seydou Doumbia, Pablo Zabaleta, James McCarthy and Oscar Ustari to the club. Although we never looked likely to win the league, with Milan, Juventus and Roma all taking turns to lead, we did finish strongly and sneak into second. The Europa league campaign saw our home form take us through to the final where we faced Tottenham, 2-0 down at half time we produced a stunning late flurry of goals to win 3-2.

Started this with Man Utd (thought might as well get one of the teams I hate out of the way), just coming up to December having qualified top of CL group consisting of PSG, Valencia and Nordsjaelland. Not much transfer wise just sold Anderson for 15m to Chelsea and bought Bale (28 mill) and Santon (15 mill).

Will post more as it develops

2015/16

Thanks to the influx of end-of-contract freebies the Inter Milan had a fresh new look to it. In came - Nemanja Vidic (who will turn 34 during the season), Daniel Agger, Pablo Zabaleta, Demba Ba, Seydou Doumbia, James McCarthy, Oscar Ustari and Marc-Andre ter Stegen all for free!!! On top of that i signed transfer listed duo Javi Garcia and Sebastien Corchia and Mario Balotelli (a risk but relatively cheap 14m). The season couldn't have started any better as our new look side won the opening ten league games and beat Barca in the European Super Cup 5-1 with a suspiciously weak defence: Muniesa, Pique, 18 yr old Regen, Montoya. As well as Iniesta and Falcao being injured. Messi had a penalty saved which would have made it 2-2. Our form couldn't last, and it didn't. Domestically it turned out to be a straight fight between us and Juventus for league and cup, we blew our early lead but held on to win Serie A by 3 points. Juventus got their revenge in the Cup final, beating us 1-0 in a very cagey match. As for the Champions league i only really feared 4 teams, Barca, Bayern, United and City. I wasnt to bothered about Real after smashing them in the Group stage. We edged past Bayern in first knockout stage, City saw off United and Barca saw off City. We had Porto in qtrs, we went 2-0 up at home before they got one back before half time, we were all over them but couldnt score a third before the crazy last ten minutes when Porto scored 3 goals to win 4-2. In the return leg we fielded the strongest team available and unbelievably were 4-0 up at half time, our 4th was a 40 yard curler from Ricardo Alvarez, it was incredible. They got 1 back in the second half but we hung on to go through 6-5. Spurs in the Semi (i play spurs every season i swear) we won 5-0 at home, although they had more possession doubled our shots, so i wasnt massively confident despite the advantage going into the second leg. They did us 3-0, missed a penalty and had 2 goals disallowed so could have been 6!! We barely had a kick for 90 mins. The final we met Barca, where Iniesta and Falcao were fit. There midfield and attack were fearsome but their defence again was poor (three teenage regens held together by pique). We 2-0 up and after riding our luck for a while looked comfortable. Then Yarmolenko came on for them and did an Adam Le Fondre (scored twice in ten mins after coming on, he actually scored them 3 minutes apart) fearing the worst now and fuming i put my head in my hand for a few seconds only to see Coutinho celebrating when i re-opened my eyes, he had scored virtually from kick-off to make it 3-2 in our favour and thats how it stayed. Thank you Barca for not buying any defenders in 4 years :)

Thought about staying on for another season to try and get back to back Champions league with the same club but ended up resigning on June 1st 2016, waiting for the next suitable job.
AC Milan finished 17th in Serie A, they won they final game of the season to stay up. Could've made this challenge very hard with Milan in Serie B so i'm glad they stayed up!!

He does i just didnt notice it. Shall fix it when i update the table next, which should be in the next 24 hours

Sorry W4anker

I had to wait until Christmas for a suitable job, well not strictly true cos the Chelsea job came up and they chose someone else over me, surely 3 Champions League winners medals would be enough for Abramovich in real life... Anyway, the OM job came up in December so i have accepted. Expectations arent high, i am aiming for 6th from here as it is only 6pts away and hopefully will mean Europa league football next season, although i dont know much about French European spots. The squad is better than the league position so the minimum expectation of mid-table should be easily attained. Champions league success should be a challenge this time around (H)

2016/17 - Marseille

So, only one transfer in January, we signed a 12 yr old Chinese regen centre back for 1.5m. He got straight into the starting line up as my coaches rate him as my second strongest centre back. We showed some good form, as good as anyone else in the league except untouchable PSG (who romped to their 5th straight title). I focussed on the French cup, seeing it as a way in to Europe if our league position wasn't good enough. As long as we avoid PSG we can beat every other team on our day. We got an easy run, 2 National sides, ligue 2 St Etienne and relegation candidates Montpellier. Our toughest game was the final against Lille which was settled by a second half penalty in our favour. As it turned out we finished 5th in Ligue 1, just 2 pts below 3rd placed champions league qualification but a whopping 24 pts off the champions.

The obvious step for next season is to try and qualify for the champions league. With one or two signings we can easily challenge, with the exception of PSG the teams in Ligue 1 are very evenly matched so its up to us to find the consistency required.

Loving your updates Triv. Fitting a whole season into a post that size but still fitting more than enough to keep me interested and looking forward to the updates

UPDATE:

In December, currently 2nd in Serie A with JUVE in 1st (unbeaten). Pretty boring time in the CL so far, 2nd in our group, we'll definitely qualify but 2 draws (1-1 & 0-0) with CHELSEA were pretty unimpressive and a little lucky.

If I can train players with some PPMs and possibly bring in some more experience in midfield and attack we'll be difficult to beat, just not as impressive as previous teams. I may have to bring in some loans for cover as I do have a small squad.

i've won the champions league with bayern munich but my screenshots aren't saved anywhere on my laptop, anyone know how i can fix this and upload the screenshots
