Do more friendly games. Most likely you are putting wingers/strikers at Offensive Midfielder and they're not used to it so it takes some time to adapt to the new position

No tactic will win you every game but this one has proved to perform very well

Make sure there is no changes, don't add any player instructions, just load up the tactic, put your team in and off you go. it should work.

once you download the tactic, don't change anything, the slightest changes will totally change the setup. so don't change any player instructions or team instructions, just put your best 11 in and you should be good to go. someone doing a test on my tactic on another forum, just won the league with Genoa first season and only lost 4 games while scoring over 100 goals, at a club which wasn't predicted to finish in the top 8

Maybe swap Trossard with Martinelli, as your front 3 don't have much pace, which is needed in this setup.

Original you'll concede more but i think you'll score plenty, V2 is more solid with a few more player instructions.
For signings, you want your front 3 to have good accelration and pace, as they'll be breaking the offside over and over again. In my Genoa save, i won the league first season and scored around 60 goals just from 1v1s.

The Inside wingers can be a bit inconsistent ratings wise and the Attacking mids are the same but overall i don't see how this tactic wouldn't work for all teams
