Struggling Newb, anyone help

so im managing man utd and im badly struggling to even score a goal, anyone know of any tactics i could use with the current squad in 1st season....thinking about buying de rossi or ribery 1st

IMO if you're struggling with Manchester United, you need to take a long, hard look at yourself.....

yeah i know, i can set up the the player roles according to the players stats, but i dont understand the team instructions and player duties, wheather it should be attack, defend or support

Well have a look at the tactics on the site, there are many good ones... All you have to do then is the team talks and slotting the players in
