Struggling to sell a player help needed!

I'm bury fc at start of 1st season and have Andy bishop on 3 grand a week would like to sell him or even give him away in order to keep currant squad and bring in 2/3 additional players with the wages available from the sale but no one seems willing to even take him on a free he is a top league 2 and good league 1 player, any ideas

I struggle with that aswell , i went with Grimsby once and they got a player called Dean Sinclair on 4K a week :O

Very common issue, have a gander round with the search engine, pretty sure it's due to there being some no transfer budgets thing for season 1... whether it can be turned off at the start of the game, or there's been a patch, I don't know. Just something I remember spotting when having a quick gander through the internets regarding a similar problemo.
