Suarez, Ademilson, Fierro, Long, Insigne - Strikers Overload

Greetings. Liverpool save into my 3rd season. Lost out on goal difference to Man City in 2nd season. Going for the league now.

I use 3 formations, namely:

4-3-3 - Lone Striker Advanced Forward Role plus 2 Inside Forwards

4-2-3-1 - Lone Striker Poacher Role plus 2 Wingers

Might & Magic TM Winger - 2 strikers (1 TM 1 Poacher) plus 2 wingers

The issues I am facing now are:

Suarez: Not potent enough as a striker. Using him out wide most of the time.

Ademilson & Fierro: Still young. Not good enough to perform consistently and hold a first team place.

Long: Plays very well only as Poacher. Doesn't fit into the 4-3-3. Perhaps not the top striker I need to win the league.

Insigne: With all the formations I use, the best position for him is Inside Forward Left. Doesn't seem to do well in the striker roles or out n out winger.

So now, what should I do? Who should I sell or buy? Or should I utilise these players that I have in other positions/roles?

Well, Long is the weak link in your more 'established' forwards.

Ademilson should be able to do a job as a poacher but probably a bit early for Fierro. Both have fantastic potential - have to say that I'm surprised Suarez isn't producing as he's by far the best player you mention.

Another reasonably cheap poacher worth taking a look at is Facundo Ferreyra.

Stephan El Shaarawy can play on either wing and support through the middle. Similar to Erik Lamela & Javier Pastore - I would definitely recommend trying to pick up 1 of the 3.

Will Hughes & Tomas Martinez are young enough to be trained a few places and both can be stars.

For the "top striker to win the league", you can afford Falcao if you can convince him to come.

Angelo Henriquez and Paulo Dybala have, in my opinion, got at least the potential of Fierro. Dybala is at Coventry for crying out loud - get him!

Viktor Fischer, Bernard, Wellington Nem, Julian Draxier, Raheem Sterling, Wilifred Zaha & Gerard Deulofeu can be trained to inside forward or winger but should all (with possible exception of Fischer) be able to slot straight in.

Have a play around scouting and let me know what you think. It's 4:30 am and I need bed!

I think I'm pretty set with the wingers. Suarez is actually my 1st choice right winger and Sterling is back up. Ibe is also potential first teamer. Nem and Insigne are my left wingers and shockingly i kept Downing as back up. I might sell Downing and buy a better left winger as well as an established specialist right winger.

I'l probably keep Long till January. I get what you mean that Suarez should be producing but he's not a goal-machine in my save (though that's probably a question of tactics and instructions). In fact I feel like selling Suarez and buying either Destro, Bony or van Wolfswinkel. But that is likely to be a decision i might regret.

I probably have messed up quite a bit with the transfers in the first 2 seasons. Too lazy to start a new save because it's tedious having to sack the entire coaching staff and replacing them (those who manage Liverpool in FM2013 would understand). So now it's damage control/repair job.

Anyone else has ideas? Please share. Thank you in advance.
 
I would get Leandro Damiao sharpish.

Also look at Bernard (ATL MINEIRO) - he's versatile as well: can play as cf/am/if/winger
 
leandro damiao is probably the best striker on this game go for him asap
 
Damiao is a great player. Don't forget your crowbars, balaclavas, surgical gloves & chloroform for when you try and get him away from Internacional!!

Seriously mate. He signed for International in 2010, over 150 games & something like 87 goals and has a contract until 2017 in one of my 2013/2014 saves.

You'll need to kidnap him / get him drunk or something.

AVB tried to sign him for Tottenham with a cheeky £15M bid in January this year. AVB really should start playing FM 13, he would have known that was never going to work!!
