Hello guys.

I just found wonderful team instructions with 442 formation and got good result so far.

'look for underlap', 'Inverted winger', 442 formation, 'direct passes'.

that's very powerful combination.

Thx to LI4MS for his tactic. because I got some hints from his tactic. for example, 'overload' 'highly structured' 'pump ball into box' 'direct passes'

anyways, I'm enjoying my Bournemouth save with this 442 tactic very well.

(of course, my corner kick setting is included. and I got many chances from corner kicks)

no OI's

Assistant manager handle the team trainings

corner kicks : MCR or MCL

all feedbacks are welcome.

cheers.

[18.1] v3.0 updated (fmf file)

It works very well with 18.1 patch.

I tested this with West Bromich Albion.

but I strongly recommend that use this against 1 striker tactic.

When you face the teams with 2 strikers tactic, I recommend that use 523 (3striker) tactic.

you can see the 523 tactic in here -> http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/share-download-fm-18-tactics/367712-suk-sam-523-a.html

Hey Vanco,

This is very similar to something I've been working on without success. Roles are pretty much identical apart from my Left Midfielder uses Wide Midfielder, which doesn't seem to act how it did previously (Would now be the Inverted Winger role).

Is there another role you'd use for the second striker to support the Complete Forward? I think I'll give this a go in the Championship with Leeds using a Defensive Forward or Deep Lying Forward on Support.

Will keep you up to date.

because inverted winger carry the ball to the box, there is no reason to use deep lying forward.

I try the Poacher in Left striker position, some players who fit as the Poacher did very well.

try the poacher.

I shall give it a go, thanks for the fast reply. I've also done a reverse option for rotation purposes, although I'm assuming like previous years, the right side is the most effective.

Yes, very strong, but...

It's a strength of long pass soccer against superdog teams. Possession isnt meaningful anymore in fm18
Yes, it's very strong, really interesting... but there is not variety in the passages .. there isin't the my idea of soccer..
I'm trying to utilize this really valid tactic as a base over create more variety of attacking movements.
This attempt will influence also the possession, consequentially...

Hey Vanco i am really intrigued by your 442, really reminds me of the legendary modern warefare tactic in fm13 or 14. I am really impressed with how the IW is performing on FM18. Previously i had doubts that the IW was another glorified tweaked WM but the results here with mark pugh of all people scoring the second highest number of goals for your team is really impressive. I have a feeling that roles that converge narrow during attacks like the IW will do well on this years ME considering the new roles they introduced like the mezzala which emphasises narrow play between the half-spaces.

these goal routes are most effective in fm2018 which are possible with 2 strikers.

These are the goals I like to see, reminds me of RB Leipzig approach (my favourite)!
