After losing my last save of my swansea fc game, i decided to start a new one because i love the swans so much 
So Here goes.
Today it was announced that Swansea City FC Have finally found a new manager after months of searching.The Swans have been looking for a new manager since Roberto Martinez left the club for Premier League side Wigan.The Swans looked through there options and the highest odds were Chris Coleman to get the job, and many people believed that he was capable of taking the club to the big time.But an outsider has taken the job.
Jamie Thomas,Born and bred is Swansea has loved the club since he was a young lad, and his dream has come true today as he was announced as the new Manager of the Swans.Many fans were baffled by the decision of the board in appointing a nobody.One of the fans said "The club needs a big name manager, not an unknown manager...he is inexperienced and this could be a shocking decision by the board".
In an interview newly appointed manager Jamie Thomas said the following."This is my dram job, i have dreamed about it since i was a young boy and i hope to achieve alot while im here.I look to play an attractive attacking style football with many young additions being brought to the club.Expect to see many transfers of young kids, who will help build the squad for the future".
Jamie Thomas' first move got the fans furious, he sold Welsh midfielder Joe Allen for 1 million GBP to Man city.Many of the fans believed that Joe Allen was worth alot more, but Jamie sad the reason behind the transfer was to increase the wage budget, and keep the club in a healthy financial state.
Jamie Thomas' only managerial experience was Sunday League football where he managed various clubs and took them to great success, but this is his biggest job of his career and he said he would like to take the Swans to the top.Jamie Thomas has set his goals high for the season, telling the board that he can get automatic promotion, if not win the league.
He has said that he is going to change the team, bring in younger players and replace the older players of the squad.Many Swans fans are eager to see what Jamie Thomas has to offer at the Swans, it is believed he was giving £3 million for transfers.

Fm-Base Swansea 2009/2010-Pre-season And Transfers.
In this update i will cover all the Pre-season friendlies and Transfers made during the preseason period.
After the shock decision by Swansea Manager Jamie Thomas to sell Welsh midfielder Joe Allen the fans were wondering who Jamie Thomas was going to bring in to fill the empty spot in midfield.Jamie said after selling Joe Allen that he sold him to boost the wage budjet to bring in more players who’s wages are alot higher.As of now, Jamie Thomas has succesfully brought 4 players to the Swans, and many fans belive the signings made can take the Swans to the top.
Jamies first target was Federico Macheda,after making a bid for the player that Manchester United rejected, Jamie offered Man Utd a loan deal, till the end of the season and paying all of his wages.Man Utd accepted the offer and immediateley the Italian wonderkid moved to the Swans.Jamie Thomas had this to say regarding the transfer “I belive that Macheda is a quality player, and can be a huge help for us this season.He is very capable of scoring goals and will offer alot to the team”
The second signing was a huge signing for the Swans, they signed none other than Sol Campbell.The fans were delighted with this signing and belived this to be one of the best transfers the Swans had ever made.Not only did Mr.Thomas sign Sol Campbell, he got him on a free transfer.Jamie said that Sol Campbell will play a huge part in the push for promotion this year, and he was immediatley appointed captain of the swans.
The next signing for the Swans was a young Spanish attacking midfielder of the name of Keko,He was signed from Athletico Madrid for 1M.Many fans were suprised at th sighing, and were wondering why the **** it was made.Jamie told the fans that he was looking to build for the future and belived that Keko could be a great player in the years to come.
The next siging was another big shock to the fans, the signing of Ebi Smolarek on a free transfer.Many fans had never heard of the player, but Smolarek was found by a scout who was looking for cheap strikers.Many people were uneasy about the signing, because Smolarek has a past of being unable to play as a team, and trying to be a 1 man team.Thomas asures the fans that Ebi was a good sighning and was the striker that Swansea was looking for.
As soon as the season started, The board informed Jamie that they wanted him to strengthen the defense, Jamie felt that Sol Campbell was a good additon, but belived that another player would be needed to make the defense a rock.He done this by signing brazilian wonder kid, Raul from athletico paranese.The defender has been touted to be a world class defender in a few years, and Jamie looks forward to watching the player develop.This was by far the most expensive player, but Jamie belives that the 3.4M they payed for him was a bargain, as he has bags of potential.
The board,Fans and Jamie Thomas belives that this has been a very succesfull transfer period and they look forawrd to watching the team develop and progress in the league.
Pre season friendlies and results-
The pre season friendlies has been very successful for the Swans,Playing 9 Games,Winning 7 and drawing 2 games.Over the 9 games the Swans managed to score 19 goals and only Conceed 1 goals.
Swansea Fc Vs Swansea Fc Reserves-
The intersquad friendly was mainly used to test out the players and tactics, and they turned out succesfull with the Swans hammering the Reserves 3-0.Van Der Gun managed to score 2 goals in the first half, and it was plain sailing from then on.The Swans capped of the performance with Jordi Lopez Scoring in the 79th Minute.
Ado Oden Haag VS Swansea FC
A Pretty hard game, as the dutch team arn’t that bad.This game was also used to experiment tactics and players, it was also the debut of Keko.It proved to be a very good Debut for the player, Scoring in the 42nd minute.The game was a pretty decent game, and it looked like the Swans were going to win until the 80th minute when the dutch team equalised.The game finished like that.
Swansea Fc Vs Darlington
For this game, Jamie went back to his original tactics used in the game against the Reserves, Once again the tactics proved to be ood, winning the game comfortably 3-0.For the first 75 minutes, it was a pretty quite games until Jamie Thomas brought on Gorka Pintado, the striker then banged in 2 goals and Craig beattie got one for himself.
Neath Vs Swansea Fc
The debut of Fedrico Macheda,All the fans were looking forward to the player in action and they were not dissapointed,With the striker scoring for the Jacks, Angel Rangel got a goal and a Neaath striker scored a own goal, the game finished 3-0.
Swansea Fc Vs Everton
By far the toughest game for the Swans in the pre-season friendlys,Playing Premiership flyers Everton.Swansea played their heart out, and deserved to win..but thats football sometimes you cant win them all.The fans were pleased at the result, with the game ending a repectable 0-0.
Crewe Vs Swansea FC
The next game for the Swans was against Coca Cola League 2 Team Crewe,The swans dominated the whole game but only managed to score 1 goal, the goal came from Dutch midfielder Ferri Bodde.The game ended 1-0.
Port Talbot Vs Swansea FC
This game had swans down for the win on the cards, and they didnt dissapoint, they ablitarated Port Talbot 5-0.The goals came from Sol Campbell,Ferri Bodde,Federico Macheda and Ebi Smolatek, one of the goals was an own goals.A very satisfying result for the swans.
GH Academy Vs Swansea Fc
This game was used by the Swans Manager Jamie Thomas,to take a look at some talent that the Acad emy had to offer, the Swans easily won the game 2-0 with Lee Trundle and Nathan dyer getting the goals, it finished 2-0,Jamie Thomas wasnt impressed by many of the players the Academy had to offer.
Ostersunds FK Vs Swansea Fc
The swans were faveourites for this game, but it was a hard game for them, it finished 1-0 to the Swans with Swans youngster Kerry Morgan getting a goal in the 84th minute to secure the win for the swans, sending them into the new season unbeaten and very confident.
My Next update will look at the month of august,Covering all of the games and the start in the championship.
