Cormac I played a game as them. Sell EVERYONE is my advice to you. I mean everyone. I got 6th in my 1st season with them and i was only 4 points off Champions League. You could do well.

I signed Beckham, Dunne, Zuccellini, Cardozo, Juanra, Miccoli (loan) and a host more. I sold 25 players.

I erased the save when I started a new game so I cant include screenshots but they are a team who you can achieve a lot with.
