Supporting Two Teams or More

I'm a Glasgow Rangers fan,but having 2 small children,a house and a car to run is a lot fianacially so i've taken to watching my local team Albion Rovers, the team that the great Jock Stein started with!
They're in the 3rd division and challenging this year so things are looking good!
I grew up when AC Milan were the dominant team in europe so i have a real soft spot for them too and really do intend on going to the San Siro one day to watch them in action, just need the cash 1st!

I can see why you get ****** off with folk who just gloryhunt by supporting the best teams in various countries and i don't get the teams in close proximity or supporting rivals, whats that all about?
You would never get a guy supporting Rangers and Celtic up here!

You cannot live that far away from me if your a Lanarkshire lad.

He must be a contraversial fella then! lol:D

He would not last very long.

I support Hearts, Always have. If we go under i will not follow another Scottish side. I used to love Newcastle when i was a kid watching them under Keegan was something else and for a young lad like myself it was an eye opener. I don't really have an English side but the story of AFC Wimbledon makes me look out for them and Whitnam87 is a good friend of mine now so i like Hartlepool to do well.

Thanks Kris. I can see why you used to like Newcastle. :D

Interesting, i suppose as a Fulham season ticket holder, i don't have time for a llm local due to them being my local team, i suppose AFC Wimbledon and Hampton and Richmond are closer to me but I've never been to those games

I'm a Liverpool fan always but I follow Bournemouth

1. Stockport County (family team)
2. Notts County (made friends with some notts fans a couple of years ago at a game against them, stayed in touch and make it to the odd few home games)
3. Northwich Vics (other local team)
4. Woodley Sports (I wouldn't say that I supported these but I keep an eye on how they're doing :))
5. Tottenham Hotspur (other family team)

yeah.....5 :) but I only REALLY support Stockport :P

I don't understand people who say they support say Man Utd, but their local team is a good team too, like Championship level. Why don't you support your local team above some good prem team?

I'm in Airdrie unfortunatley! I would go and see them but i don't really like their fans, not the nicest?
From Govan origanally but settled out here for now! Are you pretty close then?

Well, Im an American... so don't have any real natural reason to cheer for anything other than my local team (New England) - and that didnt exist when I was a little kid. I do cheer for Napoli, as Im mostly Italian heritage, and my family is mostly from Naples. Also, when I was little, Maradona was there and relatives brought back Napoli stuff and posters, Azzurri posters, etc... to be fair, I did have Milan, Inter and Juve stuff, too. I love Barca b/c I love how they play and Maradona played there as well. Sort of the same with Liverpool. From video games I mostly played with Liverpool and Newcastle the last few years. On TV, I just love watching Torres and Gerrard, and Michael Owen back a few years. I dislike Man U, but I dont have any strong, strong feelings towards most teams. I dont act like a hardcore fan either, though. Frankly, I think it would be pretty lame for me to act like I grew up in Liverpool or something. I own a Mascherano jersey and a white jersey with no name on the back.

I was born in london near Highbury stadium, Relitives and family supported Arsenal so i supported them aswell and followed them ever since. A couple of years after birth my parants decided to move to crystal palace and i grew up there till the age of 11 and met loads of nice people and CP fans was sad to move but hey. Parents again decided to move to Leicestershire as they disliked london traffic and ive lived in Leicester ever since.

Support Arsenal and follow leicester and palace and wish them all the luck in the future. Tbh i dont mind people supportig about seven clubs its when people supports rivals clubs that **** me off spurs and arsenal springs to mind but that isnt aimed a Frutty tho.

how is it possible to support arsenal and spurs (no offense) may aswell support west ham and millwall

Tbh you can't really support two teams. You obv have one fav team and another team that you like imo. I support Arsenal live in North London.. about 10-20mins away from The Emriates andr go to most home games. But i also like Celtic, Barcalona (But who doesnt :P) and even Portsmouth but i wouldnt say i support them i just like them. Arsenal is the only team i love and is the only team i support!

for me its man city who i supported when they were in league 1, and my local team bristol rovers

Spurs are my team. Always.
Used to keep an eye on Brighton and Hove as come from that area but this has been less since Eastbourne Borough have got into the Blue Square Premier who are my home town team.

United supporter since birth, brought up with their domination of the Premiership in the 90s and 00s, so call me a glory supporter but I'm from Manchester and fortunately enough have supported the Reds through arguably the best two decades in their history. When United are relegated (be that fateful fall of grace come in 10, 20 or 30 years) I'll still be following them, which I think is something that can't be said for quite a few Reds fans.

Having said that, I do take an interest in the sides local to me (in terms of the UK as a whole), so I sort of have a team for every league:

Altrincham for the BSP
Crewe and Rochdale for League Two (also because I've played footy alongside some of Dale's reserve and first team players and I find it really quite cool that boyhood mates who I played in the same team as have made it in the professional game.)
Stockport for League One
Preston for Championship
United for EPL

What can I say? I love the North West! <)

at least your from manchester, lucky im from bristol, but city were **** when i chose them, guess im lucky, we were in league 1 relying on spencer prior to score goals from corners

Must be great watching your team rise from that to bazilionare's

I think most people support more than one team. I have always supported Man Utd since I was a kid because my granddad supported them. I live in kent so also support my local team Ebbsfleet and always went to watch them as a kid as I couldn't get up to Manchester.

My main team is Celtic. But was born in London but parents mooved back up here before I can remember anything but I've allways had a soft spot for West Ham.

But I have a favourate team from most countries.
