Tactic against 4-4-2

my team are sstruggle against team with 4-4-2 tactic....would u give me some advice, what tactic i should use???
i'm using FM 2011 patch 11.2.1

Formations with 5 midfielders tend to do well against the 4-4-2. So 4-5-1, 3-5-2 ect.
