Tactic help needed!

Just got FM 2006, used to be a regular on Champ in the old days but out of touch on these new versions and need some help on tactics.
Playing with ManU, need to have wingers - any help appreciated on formations.

Mate, done a whole season with the standard 4-4-2 with United (and adjusted the tactics 2 specific games) and P38 W32 D5 L1 F88 A17 PTS101.
other than that just observe the formations other teams play against you!
