Hiya,

I'm looking to develop a tactic 4-2-3-1 and wanted to ask some questions as i'm new to creating them.

As said, its a 4-2-3-1 but, have I got enough of a spread between attacking players and defending so not to leave myself open. I can give more details if needed but it's counter attacking

Is this too attacking or set up balanced enough?

Could you please share your tactics visually? It's not just about the formation; roles and player instructions balance each other out. I want you to know that every formation has a specific weakness. I've tried almost every striker role in a 4-2-3-1 formation, and the most effective for me was the false striker. I would recommend a winger instead of a wing forward. Also, when your team has possession, an inside central midfielder contributes more to goals than a more defensive midfielder. I hope this helps.
