hmm i thought so but it says unable to download as an archive or something. The program i use is normally spot on too!

Dunno about this. I did 3 runs with the same tactic and got 96, 67 and 59 (fired) points. Difference to your instructions is that I went into holiday mode. What kind of differences to you get when you rerun?

holiday mode wont work mate, as the assistant will change tactics during games.

holiday does work in FMC with custom matchplans. all you need to do is removing all scenarios. the assistant manager won't change tactics then.

you cant use any custom databases on FMC mode though.

Hey mate! Not sure how much information this test gives us, as 90% of the matches the tactic tested faces a 4-2-3-1 formation. I guess this test is great for testing what teams do good in countries with a lot of 4-2-3-1 formations, like in Spain for instance.

For a more thorough test, there should be many more teams with handpicked managers playing all kinds of different formations.

Anyway, great to see new tactic testers, as the workload is too big on the few we have at this forum.

I'm never sure what these types of test are supposed to prove, apart from some free advertising for the guy who bangs in the most goals, with a wonderteam against random AI or head to heads.. fun to see, but a margin of how good one tactic will be for the team you have in your own game? not much.

This is a way of making tactic testing doable for people who test several of these a week. In these custom databases, wait time is extremely limited, so it is the most efficient way to test a tactic. In addition, through the use of FMRTE, it is possible to rule out many random factors, so the end result will be the "best" tactic overall. One important point though is that there should be a big variety of formations to face, or else it cannot be related to "a team you have in your own game".

If you run in vacation mode it will invalidate the test. The assistant manager will use the same formation but will completely alter the player roles and individual player instructions.
