This is a way of making tactic testing doable for people who test several of these a week. In these custom databases, wait time is extremely limited, so it is the most efficient way to test a tactic. In addition, through the use of FMRTE, it is possible to rule out many random factors, so the end result will be the "best" tactic overall. One important point though is that there should be a big variety of formations to face, or else it cannot be related to "a team you have in your own game".
There are just too many variables to take into account for one tactic tested on one team to be declared the best for all for me, they are invariably swapped out after one season, meaning its still a minimal guess at to which works and which not. I'd like to see the same tactics ran, for say six, season ones and see if they always play out in the same order, or if the engine or randomness of occurance, moral and injury will always play a more major factor than the tactic.
It may be the most efficient way but that doesnt make it the best/most applicable way once you've applied it to your own team. I would still take a tactic recommended by users in game tested over teams and leagues than from these custom results. but then if you had the time to test over teams and leagues, you'd do that, hmmm i see it as a double edged sword, a good indicator but wouldnt take that the best test tactic always will apply to MY game.
That waffle too much or you get what i mean
