Tactic testing patch 11.3

As i promissed i would start a new testing thread once patch 11.3 would be available.

Sinds their is a lot of rumours going on that the patch might be available one of these days i desided that i was time to start the thread, so maybe i'll have a small waiting list to start of with.

The testing will be done with Ace's database. In this database their are 3 teams whhich are about equally strong (all players have a CA of 140-150).

The testing will be done over a whole season and the average of the statistics these 3 teams will make the standings.

Standings will be desided as follows:

1. Points
2. Goals made (can't win if u can't score)
3. GD (if goals scored is equal, the number of goals conceded can help u to victory)
Clean sheets can help u a lot with this
4. Passing % (a good tactic lets u have the ball and keeps the ball in your team)
5. SoT (if you can't hit the taget, u can't score)


Any suggestions are always welcome and will be considered in any way possible.
Furthermore from all tactics tested the save file will be saved in a database, so the owner of the tactic can ask for it and can so improve their tactic.

P.S i know i promissed to do the rankings of the previousthread first but i desided not to do so. If tactics that have been tested befor want to be retested they'll have to entre the waitinglist, my apologizes for this.

While we are waiting for new patch, i would like to ask for your suggestion for the next database we will use to test. I'll be using the same method like 3 teams on the tactical premier league, but there some thought i like to ask you.


1. Players
Option One : Do we still need "real" players to registered in the teams?
-pros: it's real players and it's available.
-cons: a lot players resulting morale low, lack of match fitness, transferred in winter transfer, and most important it is definitely will NOT cover all the players role. The players role available is 48, for this reason it's doesn’t make any sense to cover single role onto 3 layers backup. For example, if there's a tactics using target man role, while in the team there's only one type of striker capable, when he's unavailable the tactics lost it's essence.

Option two : Will create virtual players(CA/PA=150) and covered all the roles. Every roles are calculated and exactly suitable for it's roles requirement, using "players role calculator" from SI. In short, for example every attackers stats will adjusted to meet all the stat roles required as target man, or poacher, dlf, advanced forward, complete forward, defensive forward on all duties.

There will be 23 players (world cup rules) 3 Goalkeeper, 8 Defender (4 Central Defender and 4 side defender), 8 Midfielder ( 4 MC natural (2dm natural, 2am natural), and 4 wingers), and 4 attacker (also can play at AMLCR)...all position (left and right) will have left and right footed too. (Consideration of cut inside PPM)....all the players will also competent in other position, such as DL can play DL,DR, WBL, WBR naturally but also competent at centreback. So here's the sum up of position covered.
(Notes; there will no PPM to be more fair).

SW = 4
DL = 8 (DL,DR,=natural ; DCL,DCR=competent) x2
DR = 8
DCL = 8
DCR = 8
WBL = 8
WBR = 8
DM = 8
MCL = 8
MCR = 8
MR = 8
ML = 8
AML = 8
AMR = 8
AMC = 8
ST = 8

2. Pitch
Is it require to make 3 different type of the pitch (small, medium, or big) to test?
What is your pitch size? This is a common question. Since the last tests were using three teams on the let say medium pitch, so the results are average from medium pitch. However, if using 3 different type of pitch, this can mean 3 times test, I think it's doesn't gonna happen (to test 3 times for a single tactics) if you want it, do it yourself. So, 3 type of pitch with questionable average result or single type? So what is your opinion?


3. Holidaying
Why should i ask this? i'm just ask for your opinion, a lot of us didn't like it's "reality" by this holiday-ing stuff, some of us might wonder if there is someone could make a thread like "TACTICAL REVIEW" with just let say 5 games or something, and post in graphical arrows to be more "reality" hows the tactics working, but whats your opinion, It's already very nice there's some one would to testing tactics "even" it's by holidaying (Thanks to OmegaKnight, Alex and Will1981 for they time to test most of tactics here).So, what's is your opinion? should this continue or stop?

My objective for this database is not just for this tactical testing (holiday) but also for a default template, for me there's no "immortal" tactics without supported by right players.
 
i would like to know if any1 has any interest in this thread, otherwise i wouldn't start it up again. Thnx
 
When testing these tactics, I assume you will convert all tactics to classic mode to avoid the assistant manager of using incorrect shouts*. If so, perhaps this could be added into the first post so that user better can evaluate your testing ( i.e, actually benefit from it ;D ) and also test the tactic provided


* Shouts that cant be carried out to its full as some settings are tweaked/fixed by the user
