Hello, my first post :)

iam usually only playing football manager with already made up tactics from the forum with formations i like i just recently 2-3 days ago started to think how to create my own tactic therefore i consider myself really bad, red alot of articles of tactics etc
so now my goal is to create a good all around high to low level team tactic

so i made up my own tactic

its a 4-3-3

DF(A) DF(A) DF(A)

BWM(S) AP(S) BWM(S)

FB(D) CD(D) CD(D) FB(D)

i got really good results using teams who actually got ball winning midfields, its critical you have 2 good for example using barcelona, you really need to use Mascherano - Xavi - Busquets

using Xavi and Iniesta doesnt do so well, the 2 ball winning guys are critical to have good stats according to their position

my problem is the "offence", its not really a problem, i finished the season with barcelona with no transfers on a 98:15 goals record (with 3 DF) and testet the strategy with various low league teams and it performs really really strong when you get 2 good bwm's, they seem to be the key of my strategy for now...

my problem is atm it doesnt even matter what the 3 forwards do, i tested like 50 various combinations from 3 DF to 3 poaches to various combinations of all 3's, it seems to doesnt matter how i settle them, the rest of the formation seems so solid that they gonna score anyways doesnt matter how i set these 3 up...

so i wonder if anyone could give me a good tip how to set the 3 strikers up so it would make some kind of inpact

Solid Rock.tac

cheers

Why change something that works well? If they all score why change them, especially cause barcas fcs are all small, fast and agile.

mainly i want to change it because there are litearlly no specialised players for a "Defensive Forward", no good striker has tackling above 11

so it seems to me there has to be some kind of neater solution for these 3

try make your striker like this,
Poacher -- Terquista -- Advance Foward
make your poacher as a target man with run onto ball supply, which he must have high pace and acceleration, with good dribbling, finishing and composure.
and set the Terquista as your playmaker, make sure he has good flair, creativity and off ball.
Set your poacher to have normal through pass and normal crossing.
For Terquista make him to have always through pass and normal crossing.
While for Advance forward make him to always through pass and always crossing, be sure he has high crossing attribute and same as poacher....
try this.... hope it will help

Depends on how you need( rather than want ;) ) to play. Using the outer FCs as Advanced FCs and also using players that likes to drift and move into channels is à good way to stretch the opponents defence sideways, naturally combined with using lots Of width.

If you want to play more compact, you can use the outer FCs as complete FCs on support with cut Inside as the wide play, and the central FC as à poacher. Playing through the middle, this ensures you with à really compact transition phase that feeds the Poacher with t-balls inbetween the DCs.

As for the midfield, My only concern is that the gap between your defence and the former Will be slightly to big, especially if wanting to use even more Of the pitch, dropping deeper with the defence. Its probably not à problem when playing with à team like Barca but if using lets say Chelsea, you Will come up againt more opponents Of equal quality that Will try to exploit that gap.
