Hey guys.
Since the update, similar to many I have struggled with too many long shots and not enough penetrating through balls. This has resulted in my regen striker (who is my best player) never getting a decent chance unless he dribbles past 5 players first...unless he scores (his ratio has dropped from 1:1 to about 4:1 already) his rating generally ends up at about 6.2.
Has anyone found a decent way to manage this issue yet on the updated ME?
My tactics:
4-2-3-1
Full backs set to auto
CB's limited defenders on defend duty
2 Cm's are DLP's set to Defend and Support
3 AMC's set to Attacking Mid (attack duty) for left and right sided and Trequartista for middle player.
Striker set to Advanced forward, I've experimented with poacher as well to no benefit.
I have extremely good creative attacking midfielders so I play to use this as best I can, sadly the latest ME update has dropped the through balls so considerably I'm struggling to set up my striker...my AMCs just pick up the ball and dribble before shooting from long range. All player instructions are as standard basically and my AMCs and DLPs are all set to play through balls often.
Any advice on my tactics would be appreciated
