Hi,
Firstly, I am unsure whether this is the right place to post this topic. Sorry for any spamming :)
I always seem to lose badly to Manchester City. They beat me 5-0 when I was Bolton and 3-1 when I was Juventus :(
In reality Man City don't play good 'team' game but in FM, they seem to play 'dream' football..atleast against me... I would like to know if there's any tactic to counter Man City and what OI are to be used??
Thanks in advance

Use 4-1-4-1 Formation

One holding DM. 4 Central midfielders. (Dont go for attacking midfielders)

One Deep Lying Forward up front.

Set up instruction as "Pump the ball into box", "Drop deeper", "Get Ball forward", "Exploit the flanks"

Again it all depends on your wingers ability to cross and forward's ability to head or composure in box.

This counter attacking style always works against City/Spurs (The two opponents I find very difficult to beat :( )

Thanks dude....
I feel Spurs are easier to beat compared to Man City. They signed Vucinic, Maxi Rodriguez, Vargas, Maicon and some DC. Tevez and Robinho rip my defence apart usually!!!!! :(

It may be useful if you atleast mention what club you are season ect ect

Well...currently I am managing Sheffield United :)
My next match is away to Man City
So far I have been good in the league defeating Arsenal and Chelsea at home...
I have two good DMs and a good AMC.
Evans keeps banging the goals...
THanks in advance
