Tactics for the lower leagues

I Have recently taken a job at newport county and wondered if there were any tactics best suited to teams in the lower divisions.

I would like to sure up the defence and hopefully get some goals on the break.

I would play a balanced or rigid approach, playing direct and on the break. As the strategy counter makes you sit sligthly serier and being more cautious om terms of press, i would press more. Apart from that, i would make shouts as à reaction to what i see on the pitch, get nall forward and exploit the flanks to hit them even harder om the break or retail possesion to slow things down .


As for formation, make sure you chose one where your best players can do most damage. In general, à flat 442, 4411 or à wide 41221 are the most solide
