Was that the only tweak you made? Moving BBM one notch back and setting him as Half Back?
 
Hate to be that guy, but does anyone have a classic 4-3-3 (4-1-2-2-1/4-1-4-1/4-1-2-3 or whatever it is to you) with actual inside forwards on both sides and a complete forward/deep-lying forward? I saw ZYndar's tactic in the beginning of the thread, but dunno if it still works for this update.

Best success I had was with the Date 442v2, page 12 of Chickenwing thread I think.

442 with inverted wingers, really good.

33-4-1 with three draws coming in my last 5 while I was playing a bunch of youth. 134 goals for. Feel free to check out the thread.

Yeah that was all I did as didn't touch any instructions. The HB is often coming back deep either just in front or in line with the 2 CBs. I don't have the best ball playing defenders and it seem the HB is make a lot of the forward passes. If play breaks down he is usually a lot closer to the defense to pick up the ball or make a tackle.

I might try moving the HB back to the BBM role as team is a lot more fluid now. I originally wanted to move him back to play as a Volante which is a BBM but starts from deeper, but you have to have 2 DMs for that role.

I can testify to this, I'm using this tactic and for a mediocre Everton side I'm second, Man United are in 1st and have lost 1 game in 25 games so far so they're having an unbelievable season!

Looks really offensive. (At certain times a bit too much, especially for big matches, kind of holding me off a bit.) How does it work defensively? Also, do you use different mentalities for certain matches/situations?

It does concede goals but I don't exactly have the best of back lines; Gaya, Keane, Tonelli, Coleman. I don't change the mentalities at all. I think the crosses from wide are the main way of conceding but I think that's with most tactics this year.
 
I've tried a lot of tactics and I have to admit it's by far the best #kungfu343! with her I've won everything that can be with Leicester, Valencia and Lyon, the best tactic FM18, sorry for my bad english
