Tactics from differant forums {around the world}

FM17 and FM18 has not really been any different , As its still 433 or at least 3 striker tactics that are killing the game .

Surely by now the match engine can support a proper 4231 or more conventional tactic to win major trophies .

In real life not every team uses 3 strikers .

I would love a few more normal tactics .

Just saying !!

Well mate, these ones work great, mainly the Roma one, V3 version. 4222 is a bit leaky, but you will still overachieve.

Tired of all the 3 DCs and WBs tactics, I started a long term save (I hope to be :)) using this 4222. Although clearly overachieving, it was a bit leaky mainly away, as I'm IK Sirius, a weak team predicted bottom places of the swedish league. So started using this V3 with some great, consistent, realistic and solid results. I think I'm on my way to win the league, and playing some great football. This V3 is surprisingly solid at the back for a 4 at the back formation, and also very good on the attack for a one striker tactic. So, and because I'm having fun with this one, I'm going to stick to it.

Created a thread with a standard 4-3-3 tactic a couple weeks ago. Two wingers and a DM, and I've been having incredible results with it.

The defense isn't always the best, but that hasn't hurt my results at all. Typically score at least 2 goals per game, so the defense can give up 1 occasionally. Also, the tactic led the league in defense in both seasons that I've used it for. It's not perfect, but it's a strong, realistic tactic, which seems to be what this thread is screaming out for.

Dybala, Firmino, Andre Silva, and Dolberg are all excellent in the role and are very popular options in this year's game.
