Are there any good tactics around that use 3 defenders or wing backs? Had a search but cant really find any

Looking to make my own that is a bit different from the usual 4231/433 etc, but need some inspiration first :D

Thanks in advance

busy making a possession tactic with 3 central defenders, its based on the Italian team last night!

Nice! Looking forward to seeing it

What would be the best formation to use with 3 defenders? I guess a DM would be necessary in all of them though

yeah, its all down to the style of play you want to use though... a Dm is necessary though :)

I'm currently playing as Napoli with a 3-4-3, I have made attacking and counter-attacking tactics. I can upload them if you want?

I don't play wing-backs, I play with defensive wingers, much more exciting. (;

Havent decided on that yet :(

Was planning on sorting the formation out first and adapting to that

Yes please mate ;)

What is the best way to play with 3 at the back? And which formation suits it best?

I am concideríng to play with Al-Ahly in egypt were it seems I am forced to play with 3-2-3-2. Or more or less a 5-3-2 with wing backs, or 3-5-2 if you like to call it like that.

I will probably not use any DMF since I have WB helping the backline out. Concidering that the wingbacks have to run around alot and get exhausted helping the attack and defence I'll probably use a slow tactic with a more ballkeeping style.
