Taking on the Old Firm - A Partick Thistle Story

This is looking like a lovely season thus far. Can't complain with how things go, however Celtic are running away with it just like irl!

Pretty much as expected, Glad it happened though so it is a little realistic rather than winning a league 1st season lol.

There were no highlight games this month after we had an excellent month bar one game which we lost 3-1 to St Mirren in a minor blip, We opened up the split with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Kilmarnock before a 7 goals thriller against St Johnstone took place, After our defeat to St Mirren we battled hard and managed to beat Aberdeen in our fight for 2nd and finally taking a point of Celtic ensured 2nd place was ours. What an effort lads well done!

well as you can see we managed to finish 2nd in a fantastic season, Celtic ran away with the league as expected, Well done to Steven Lawless who finished 2nd in the assist charts with 11 behind a outstanding player in Rolando Aarons. Kris Doolan ended up overtaking Taylor in the scoring charts as he bagged 12 goals, 10 of which came in the league with 18 starts.

Hearts overturned a massive deficit as they lost at Hamilton 3-0 putting Hamilton firmly into the driving seat and favourites to stay up however the 2nd leg at Tynecastle proved to be vital as Hearts ran out 4-0 winners on the day putting them through 4-3 on aggregate giving them promotion to the SPFL along with Rangers.

Our final standing in the league gave us a record finish of 2nd as previously Thistle had only ever managed 3rd place.

This was total bullshit, My team beat all sorts of records, finished in 2nd place behind Celtic & got a Europa place after being predicted to finish 6th yet none of my players make the team ? Dundee United finished way below expectations so their players couldn't have played that great whilst Hamilton got relegated! I'm not bitter honest.
