TOUGH START FOR EINDHOVEN

A new look FC Eindhoven squad has dissapointed fans with a string of poor results in the Eredivisie. After signing no fewer than 15 players in the summer, Eindhoven have struggled to find their feet.

Results

With 8 games played so far in the Eredivisie, Eindhoven have only managed to pick up 7 points. More worrying then their results is they inability to defend. Condeeding 21 goals so far, including drubbigs from Heerenveen and Groningen.

Questions are being asked of Jamie Thomas, with such a change in the squad many are wondering if the manager has the ability to increase team cohesion at such a vital time.

Eindhoven find themselves in 14th place, just 2 points from relegation.

6 - Ongenda plays a neat ball through to Mesca but his shot is saved.

8 - Eindhoven continue early pressure but PSV have a chance to attach, a missed interception from N'Diaye and De Jong is through....

9 - GOAL!! De Jong converts his 1 on 1 chance with Leeuwenburgh in the Eindhoven goal from 10 yards out. PSV 1-0 Eindhoven.

33 - Kim Min-Kyoo steps up to take Eindhoven's first corner of the game.....GOAL!! Saugher get's his head on it after losing his man and there is nothing the PSV goalkeeper can do, Eindhoven draw level!
PSV 1-1 Eindhoven.

45 - HALF TIME! Both teams go in to the break with 1 goal a peice, Eindhoven FC fans will be the happier, with the half time stats slightly leaning in their favour.

46 - Eindhoven are still napping and its a GOAL from Osvaldo, a turn and quick shot from the edge of the box caught everyone by surprise as the ball drifted in to the back of the net.

65 - Substitutions for Eindhoven as Tuyp and Van Hout make their way on to the field, Jamie Thomas isn't holding back here.

72 - Patient play from PSV leads to a chance for Osvaldo...GOAL!!! He converts his second chance of the game from just inside the box, Eindhoven will be disapointed as they were caught out here.

93 - The whistle has blown and thats it. PSV come out of this game with 3 points, another derby won.
