Arsenal FC - Wenger Quits!

After so many years in charge of the London side, Frenchman Arsene Wenger has decided it is time to pack up and leave. After countless trophyless season's the Manager felt he had no right being in the post, and despite the boards best attempts to stop him, he resigned. Wenger is expected to fly to France within the week and settle down at Chateu d' Arsene in the North of France.

The question now is, who will take the vacant post at Arsenal? Big names like Inter Milan's Jose Mourinho are obviously in the mix. However name's like Roy Hodgson and Ewan Moyes are also being touched at.

Arsenal FC - Board Hire Unknown Scot Nelson?

After a fortnight of speculation today has finally arrived, Arsenal FC have unveiled their new Manager, is it Mourinho? or perhaps the wild card Owen Coyle of Bolton. Nope, infact its nobody you will ever have heard of. The new boss of Arsenal FC is... Rhys Nelson.

Following the appointment Liverpool Boss Benitez was questioned as to why he thought the board would go with such a choice his reply was:

"The players and fans are demoralised at the loss of Wenger, nobody wanted to take up the poisoned Chalice, this could be the end of Arsenal as a Big 4 club." well we know what he think's, but what about you, leave your comments as to your feeling towards the new manager below.

The young midfielder is seen as one of the brightest talent's in English football, and, with the lack of English players in the Arsenal squad, Nelson is clearly trying to bring a more National feel to the squad.

Pre-Season here at the Emirate's kick's of in Just a few days, and while Nelson has already expressed his desire for Assistant Manager Pat Rice to take control of the friendlies it will still be a good way for fans to see how the new signing's will settle in.

Well I support Arsenal and I am going down to London for the week next weekend so I felt an urge to an Arsenal story.
