Talk to Unhappy Player Help

Hey, I dont know whether this is the right section to post this but I have a slight problem.

The way I play FM is that I go on a holiday between matches. My problem is that when a player gets unhappy during the time I'm on holiday, I cant interact with him when I am back. In earlier FMs you could just click on the player and speak to him. Does anyone know how to this year? Basically talk to the player regarding his concerns/unhappiness?

i dont think you can. you can ask your captain and assistant captain to talk to him tho. just go to speak then ambassador duties

You can't. Your player wanted to talk to you, but you're on holiday so effectively you've ignored him.

Oh okay.

Very strange though, in previous versions you could. The thing is after the first few years, holidaying between the games is faster as you've already done the groundwork for your team.

Can I just ask, why do you go on holiday inbetween matches?

Get through seasons quicker. After I have played a few seasons, its much quicker, just an old habit I guess.
